Position: Seasonal Maintenance – Potential Full Time Position
Performs a variety of tasks aiding in the maintenance of a culinary water system.
Job Classification and Duties:
Will assist in the installation, operation and repair of the water system.
Will assist in the general maintenance of District property and buildings, including but not limited to: mowing grass, weed eating, spraying and pulling weeds.
Will assist in the installation and repair of water meters, water services and fire hydrants.
Responsible for performing duties safely and maintaining and wearing safety equipment when necessary.
Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment and tools of the district.
Reports directly to Foreman in day-to-day activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Daily tasks require a variety of physical activities involving muscular strain, such as heavy lifting, walking, standing, working in tight quarters, such as a meter box or excavation area. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds or more. Must be able to communicate and work well with co-workers and the general public.
Must be 16 years or older.
Must be legal to work in the United States.
Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to provide a current DMV report
Must be in good physical health and be able to, at the District’s request, pass a pre-employment drug test and physical examination.
Must be insurable by District insurance carrier.
Must have some knowledge and skill in the operation of power tools.
Work Schedule and Pay:
FULL TIME- 30-40 hours per week.
PAY RANGE ($13.00 $17.00 per hour)
